Conroy’s Filter approves of Child Rape

I had an interesting train of thought last night and I have collected my thoughts below.

The upcoming Government Censorship filter being pushed on the Australian People by Several Gratuitous Morons within it’s ranks, backed by religious Zealots and people who simply do not understand the technology involved, is fundamentally flawed for many reasons, though this post will focus on RELIGIOUS reasons.

It goes without saying that it would be impossible for Senator Stephen Conroy to ban the Christian Bible or the Islamic Quraan from passing through the filter, there are measures in place to stop the Bible and Quraan ever being placed on the Refused Classification list, as that would be percieved as Religious Discrimination or State Censorship of Religious materials and it would make all of the Christian Zealots that are backing him up, suddenly stop supporting him.

Not many people actually READ the bible, they get preached from it, but very rare is the person who has read it from front cover to back cover, especially the old testament.

Anyone who has read it cover to cover, would realise at several points in the book it shows God, clearly advocating the exploitation of child slaves, the rape of slaves (some of them children), the rape of women, and many other horrible crimes which would be RC if not for their Religious connections.

So, in other words, Stephen Conroy’s Department is 100% behind Novels about Child Exploitation and Rape, so long as it has Religious Context.

So what is to stop other rape and exploitation items getting through the filter citing religious grounds, and exactly where is the line drawn, discussion ON the content of the bible, in particular the passages that contain rape and child exploitation?

It is childs-play to get AROUND the filter, and if it’s  possible for websites to be immune from filtration, be they due to popularity (youtube.com will not be filtered) or due to religious grounds… Remind me what the point of the filter is again?

Once again it was seen in an interview yesterday that Stephen was pushing up the “I don’t opt-in to Child Porn” defense.

It is starting to seem as though the old Shakespeare quote from Hamlet “The Lady Doth Protest To Much” is really starting to apply here for Mr. Conroy, his entire rebuttle against any opposing facts against the filter is “So you like child porn?”

It is really starting to look as though Mr. Conroy himself is trying desperately to distance himself from Child Pornography, perhaps there is some element of this in his past/present?

Has anyone thought to take a look through Mr Conroy’s Internet Browsing History?
