BBH I’m getting Phoozle to reskin, cause I CBF recently, I look forward to seeing what he can come up with, which leaves this blog and PPAU, so now I’ve blogged… I better get into the hard stuff…

So today its more sorting data for me, I’m trying to track member numbers from a manual file of names and addresses that dont have member numbers… grrr

Because the lovely staff thought it would be great to start editing the name and surname fields in the system to include things like CANCELLED, the date in 00/00/00 format, various X’s, initials of the person who cancelled it, BAD DEBT, MORE DETAILS NEEDED and partially erased member names to fit such comments in, matching people to records by their name is extremely TEDIOUS, I’ve found a lot of lost ones tracking their addresses at least, and I erased most of the extra crap but the easure procedure probably broke other records I’ll find, and then you come to the people who have gotten married and only 1 set of records has been updated with their new last name, I’m just flagging them with “I think they are now this person same first name and address” and the staff will have to verify them

at least I feel somewhat more productive now, I have about 90% of the members automatically linked, I just need to find the extremely anoying final 10%

Fingers crossed on some job opportunities commang back to me on the phone today as well

So I’m going to try and update this daily for a week with whatever trivial nonsense is going through my day, just to see what it would be like to do something like that, who knows maybe I’ll find something I was looking for, maybe not.

So last night we watched both the Tomb Raider movies back to back on a free DVD player we got from the in laws, the DVD player was apparently broken but it appears to work flawlessly at our house… also it has USB input and understands MPEG4 so I will be playing with that tonight.

Today I am sorting data out for a Gym, what kind of Gym keeps a manual record of their members, but doesn’t put their membership number in the spreadsheet next to their name… it’s madness… anywho, at least I will be paid for the 4 days it will take to sift manually through these 7000 odd records

Oh also the City I live in was recently swallowed in red dust, I’ll have photo’s when I pull the memmery card out of my camera and retrieve them.

Nabi Saleh and Peter Irvine are prominent, active members of Hillsong Church and Gloria Jean’s Coffees Australia is a major sponsor of Hillsong Church. A Cult built to evade tax and cash in on born again Christians.

Gloria Jean’s Coffees sponsors many Hillsong-related initiatives such as Mercy Ministries, a pro-life anti-gay charity that helps women with drug issues and eating disorders as well as women during their pregnancy. “Gloria Jean’s Coffees chose to support Mercy Ministries because there is a need in Australia for a dedicated charity that helps women with these difficult issues,” said Peter Irvine, Co-Founder of Gloria Jean’s Coffees” Gloria Jean’s Coffees has stated it is not intending to change its funding arrangements of Mercy Ministries, despite recent allegations that Mercy Ministries removes its charges from proven medical therapies and puts them in the hands of amateur counselors who employ techniques including exorcisms.

I for one am now boycotting Gloria Jeans, it’s a shame because the only thing left for me in the way of convenient coffee is McCafe… Crazy Cults, or Rich Multinationals… I think I’ll bring a thermos.

I’m thinking about going down to our friendly wireless cult sponsor and playing with their wifi now… who’s got idea’s for their wifi SSID

“Gloria Jeans – We Hate Gays and Love The Hillsong Cult” sounds like a great wireless network

For those interested in this subject there’s a face book group you can join

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=21028732968

Update: Peter Irvine, is actually the director of Mercy Ministries Australia

So… Haven’t made a post in a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time and this will basically be a brief unthoughtful re-cap of recent events to break the ice and maybe explain where I have been, and hopefully more posts will follow in closer succession than this one to its predecessor.

Okay, very VERY brief outline.

1. yes went to new share house, have since left.
2. Vicki got a job in Newcastle at Aristocrat (they make poker machines)
3. I left my job in Sydney, now living full time in Newcastle (Maitland, but nobody knows where that is)
4. I’m currently attending university and working at Domino’s Pizza again
5. gay housemate moved out
6. Ametra and Dryw have moved into his room and now its just the 4 of us
7. Me, the wife, Ametra and Dryw all met Boydee at the reptile park… fun was had, Asian tourists were ridiculed, old people were ridiculed, jail bait were ridiculed, Dave was extremely noisy, tortoises were ridden, etc etc
8. joined the gym at the uni and am back on the weightloss wagon, current weight 180KG’s (ZOMFG)
9. I finally got myself a decent graphics card again (ATI HD 4770) so now I can install EVERYTHING!

So… see you in a few days, when things change

So, I’m up really late, listening to Metallica’s Lament to femme fatal sexually personified alcoholic beverages, and its making me really thirsty for femme fatal sexually personified alcoholic beverages… I think I’ll take the ELEVATOR to the BAR…

I have moved into the new place, me and vicki dragged all our stuff up 42 storeys almost to the crux of this monolithic overly decadent temple of modern consumerism… and I have finally acquired the broadband that I have been so very thirsty for these long dry months in the outer western suburbs of Melbourne’s drought stricken landscape. So far I have managed to not go to bed before midnight for a week…. I really need to get back on track… the internet has sucked me into its underbelly and left me wanting.

SO yesterday I actually left the building for purposes other than the need to relocate belongings from one proxy location to my newly acquired domicile, I went out in search of food, in the form of milk and whatever else I could get with the 43cents I had left after the milk… which turned out to be a packet of 2 minute noodles that disappointingly took longer than 2 minutes to consume. Never the less, I was out in the night groping the night-life with my ocular receptors, and my god is this place hedonism-ville, mere meters from my home I now have access to everything that has made western society the fat stupid wasteful consumer whore it has become… and I diddlie* LOVE IT!

So, I have awesome news for you all today, I have found another apartment worthy of my presence deep in the Melbourne CBD and the best part is, I have ADSL2+ again! Through luck, negotiating and from what I can tell DEMONIC FORCES on our side, my wife Victoria chucked a sicky on Tuesday and located a private advert on a forum just like this one, except this one was more focused on crazy cat people, for an apartment for rent privately in the QV1 Building (pictured here)

Its basically a SEXY-AS 44 floor tower on top of a SUPER MODERN styled Mall, full of all kinds of IF-YOU-HAVE-TO-ASK-ITS-TOO-MUCH shops, but also the basics like Safeway (Woolworths), big W, office works, Harvey Norman, that kinda thing. God damn the view from the top is excellent. The spot we are in is on the 42nd floor, so almost at the top and you can see all the way too the ocean from the windows.

Seeing how its a private rental, the Lady who owns the apartment is leaving some of her “crap” behind, by “crap” I’m talking a 42″ Plasma, pre-connected ADSL2+, a fridge, washer and a spare bed. I think the universe is definitely telling me to stay in Melbourne for a little while longer… and I must say that I don’t really mind Melbourne if this is the way I shall be treated from now on…

I am quite literally in NIRVANA.

To be honest I don’t know what I want to do, I know I enjoyed Sydney alot more than Melbourne, but was that just the job, or was it other things as well? I know I’ve been run of the road 4 times since moving to melbourne, the drivers down here are CRAYZY, bleh, I just feel really emo today… I’ll probably get over it tomorrow.
