Hey blog, its been a while, and quite a bit has been going on in the life of Dave.

I’ve quit my job in Melbourne and hooked up with a friend in Sydney to help him get his business off the ground, I’m living in North Strathfield in a share house, it works well for me because I only pay 1 bill and all my utilities and junk are paid for, somehow I ended up stuck on TPG again, but its not as bad in Sydney.

Whilst the business is working well but I’m pretty lonely up here by myself, I miss Victoria an awful lot. I don’t get to see her again until the 24th, I’ve been working out a lot and I want to impress her with my weight-loss when I see her next, I hope she will be impressed.

I’ve been traveling up to Newcastle on the weekends to help my grandparents with their property, all last weekend and this weekend we have been rebuilding parts of a cattle yard, which involves a lot of post-hole digging and dragging big assed pieces of wood around, I got hella sun burned today, my weak nerd skin being bombarded with thermo nuclear energy for the good part of 6 hours took its toll on my arms and face.

Victoria and I had Sable cremated and she made the journey with me to keep me company in Sydney, she’s living in a simple black wooden box right now on my dresser, I miss her still very much. Her tattoo has healed up completely now, I’m looking for a good artist to clean it up a bit though, the guy that did it sucked.

bbh.net isn’t working out so well, I’ve had to shut down the game servers, well I will be in a few days, there’s just not enough money to support it… well, nothing ventured, nothing gained I guess.

Personal Beliefs
Personal Liberty, Transparency in Government and Modification to Copyright and Patent Laws are a must for today's society, if it ever hopes to crawl out of the gutter of greed and stalemated development.

Medical Patents that last longer than 12 months are not protection of business, they are the protection of legalized, corporate controlled, death sentences.

Now that the Record and Film Industry have flooded the world with Advertisements that are crammed into our mind through every available conduit, They must accept that people will share this culture freely amongst themselves, and if it is easier to share it for free than it is to jump through DRM hoops and end user agreements just to listen to music, then Share it for free, they will.

Making it a criminal offense to share popular culture for free is non-sense. Peer-to-peer non-profit sharing, must not be confused with "For Profit Piracy". the sharers are not profiting, and record and movie sales continue to skyrocket, proving that there is minimal or no damage caused, in most cases it is BENEFICIAL to sales though word of mouth, and as such should be legalized.

Religion?
I believe that organized religion is one of the most dangerous phenomenon that our society faces. When power and faith go hand in hand the result is oppression, closed mindedness and severe danger. I am, however, more than happy for the individual to have a personally identified deity or concept, from which they can draw strength.
